ChatGPT is part of the practical system I use to move from an idea or question toward a result that can be reviewed, tested and improved.

Why it matters in my work

I use ChatGPT when a project needs research synthesis, product framing, writing and editing, decision support. Its value is not simply that it produces output quickly, but that it gives this part of the work a clearer structure.

I still keep the larger product question visible, because the tool can support the process without deciding what the project should ultimately become.

What I use it for

These uses are connected rather than isolated. Each one helps reduce the distance between understanding a problem and producing something concrete enough to evaluate.

Where it adds value

The tool is most useful when the scope is already reasonably clear. It can accelerate exploration and implementation, but it cannot decide which problem deserves attention or whether the final result is appropriate for the real situation.

I therefore use it as part of a reviewable process: the output should remain understandable, editable and connected to the original decision.

What I pay attention to

The strongest outputs come from treating the conversation as an iterative thinking process rather than a one-shot answer.

This is the boundary I keep in mind when deciding whether the tool is genuinely helping or merely producing more output.
